Blog Giveaway

I am having a blog giveaway to celebrate my 1st blog anniversary. I can't believe it's been a whole year since I started Cafe Chatelaine. Everyone has been so gracious with their compliments that I think you deserve a little reward or a treat. So....

here's the giveaway. Wait, first let me say that I wanted to do a ocean themed giveaway because I love the ocean and I am a New England girl and don't you think of lighthouses and the ocean when you think of New England?


So these items are things I would want to win. I love bath products so I am giving away these sweet little shell soaps. They smell so great! A little purse made from fish net and ...


some vintage scrapbook cards, a seashell, a poems of the sea book, and a roll of 100 hundred wishes. Oh, by the way, the scrabble tiles stay with me!

Congratulations on your one year blog anniversary. The goodies you're giving away are gorgeous, but more than that I love your post below about Oscar. I love animal people and their stories. I'm glad you took that leap of faith and you and Oscar are happily living together in your condo. I applaud you and Oscar for one year of blogging! I started to blog this year and am having so much fun. I think that we all get writers block and wonder what I will be writing about on my anniversary but probably about all the great and interesting people I get to meet from blogging. Isn't this all so much fun? I have a cute little rescue graphic on my blog on the sidebar that will make you smile!

I read your post about Oscar and of course it tugged at my heart. I am an animal lover by nature but dogs have been pretty much it. Even so, I would have done the same as you. You have a very big heart to have made sure that Oscar was well taken care of. And who knows, maybe that is why you did buy your condo. Maybe Oscar is your guardian angel.
